Phil is clearly working for his clients as vendors however is a fountain of knowledge on the region, and who to talk to for various needs. Phil genuinely wants the buyers to enjoy their purchase and future home.
Phil was easy to get on with and kept the neg going. The only area for improvement I would see is making commitments early on, that turned out not to be available. There was also some confusion in what an offer actually was, during the process. Some note taking or clarification would have ensured this didn't happen. In general the process was pretty uncomplicated and easy, aided by our desire to do the deal.

The purchase of the property was certainly not a smooth process. This was mostly due to the sellers being difficult to deal with and unwilling to negotiate on contract details. Initially Phil would liase for us with these owners, but as relations became more strained between us and the seller, Phil would take days to return calls then stopped returning calls completely and fobbed us off to another employee (who is in charge of rentals, not even sales). Good agent when things are going well, definitely not when details go south. Having said that, the agent does work for the seller, not the buyer, and he did get a sale for the seller. It has been an extremely unpleasant process for us the buyer though

It made the decisions about the purchase so much easier having all the details presented professionally and thoroughly. Phil was able to guide us with the online auction process which went smoothly on the day. We support the auction method because expectations from both the vendor and purchaser are mutually met.
