They often say buying your first home is a stressful experience but I believe it is all about timing and the people helping you. I found my apartment on first and only day of inspecting potential units: it was a Saturday. I was in the (now my) actual apartment for less than 5 min during the open. Phil was there; very easy going and helpful; showed me around and explained what the owner was looking for etc. I sent through an expression of interest that afternoon and was in the office with Phil Tuesday morning. After going through all the documentation and explaining everything I signed my name on the dotted line and left the office with Phil telling me he'd be in touch. I think I got two calls from Phil that same day: the first on just an update and the second to say that out of two bids, I got it. I was an official 'home owner!' Since then Phil has helped me through the entire process to settlement, which was maybe a month. He even assisted me afterwards on a few queries as I hadn't moved in yet and now had tenants! I am, however, now living in this wonderful apartment and will most likely get Phil to come and have a look some time at what I've done to the place for a potential value: not that I'm selling but if I do I'll be picking up the phone, "Hello again Phil!"
I was not pleased with the level of knowledge demonstrated by the agent. The property had many features which were not discussed at all; in fact we even went and got a termite inspection when TERMI MESH was Installed at the property - so complete waste of money. The agent was not able to discuss with us Solar Panels Performances or even if there was Solar Panels on the roof, and had to ask the builder. Lacked heavily on all Technical Products installed at the property like NBN and all patching around the house. I had to go and find many things out for myself once the property settled, simply by reading all the manuals. Simple things were simply unknown to the agent. Like most real estate agents, just another quick sale with little effort...
Phil was great through the whole process and was very accommodating and flexible with our requests due to myself working away and only being available for certain time periods. Made the process very easy and was great for giving us information we required.
The whole experience from appraisal and listing to not just the sale but also after-sale dealings was extremely stress-free. Phil kept us informed every step of the way and although ours was a fairly complicated situation he made it seem effortless. We have dealt with Phil in the past and would not consider using anyone else for a future sale.

The purchase of my home was quick and easy and pain free, which is unusual given buying a home is usually a stressful situation. I was looking in Tuart Hill but couldn't find anything in my price range, Phil was quick to identify an ideal property for me but in Balcatta - one suburb over and I've found happiness :-)
