I informed Barry Plant Real Estate that I needed to sell my house. It was potentially a problematic sale, in that I had already purchased a new residence prior to selling our current house. I was assigned Realtor Ray Haab. I instructed Mr Haab that I needed to sell the family home as soon as possible and that the settlement date needed to be as close as possible to the existing settlement date of the new purchase. My pricing expectation was probably a little unrealistic and higher than current market value. Mr Haab attended my residence and suggested some modifications that would appeal to potential purchasers and expedite the sale. Mr Haab returned periodically to check upon progress. All steps of the sale process were seamless and directly overseen by Mr Haab. They were conducted with my personal circumstances in mind and non-intrusive. My property was sold within 12 hours of release, for a price that far exceeded my expectations. Mr Haab continued to check in periodically following the sale and I could see that he was offering the vendor the same level of commitment. He facilitated a return visit for the vendor, including scheduling building inspections via registered building inspectors. Mr Haab continued to facilitate communications between the vendor and I, in order to effect a smoother handover of the property. He also managed to obtain the exact same settlement date of the pre-purchased property. Ray also lowered his own fees, foregoing some commission he was entitled to. Ray has restored my faith in realtors. He acted with the upmost professionalism at all times. Ray placed me and my needs first. Ray is approachable, genuine and his honesty and integrity is beyond reproach. I am not personally affiliated with Ray and this review is based only on my sales experience with Ray and Barry Plant.
