We first came across Rendina Real Estate when we bought 40A Charles Street 12 years ago, we were impressed by the way Lou Rendina conducted the auction. Having decided to sell we conducted interviews with 4 local agents, this was the first time we meet Richard and after a few discussions we decided to give him the task of marketing our property because: • He did what he said he’d do, • His testimonials read well, • We felt we could work well with him • But most of all we liked his keenness and enthusiasm. When it came to the campaign Richard recommended a high profile auction campaign, which we then worked together to tailor. Then, 2 weeks into the campaign at a regular catch up Richard declared “ I know who’s going to buy your place” and we discussed reserves etc as Richard said the “auction starts now”. At the end of the meeting Richard said, “just let me do my job”, “ Trust me!” I always get worried when people say that but in this instance my concern was misplaced, we sign a contract that evening for a price $50,000 in excess of the figure we would have been very pleased to sell for at auction.
