We recently sold our home in Seddon, Melbourne with Rob as agent. I can say that Rob takes a personal approach to his work, he was committed from the very beginning in getting the best price possible, which put us in a good position when it was time to negotiate. I don't believe we could have got the result we did without his help. Still to this day with settlement closely approaching Rob continues to go the extra mile in getting both parties (vendor and purchaser) what they need from the transaction.

I had an almost 20 year relationship with Nicholas Scott Real Estate. I had rented through their office, purchased through them in 2003 and then rented out my property with them from 2009-2019. I had high hopes for them going above and beyond to help sell my unit due to our history but I was completely let down by the overall process. Rob provided two approximate quotations in the months prior to the listing and I was aiming to sell within the second quote range, knowing that property prices had dropped -and it wasn't even sold for a figure at the bottom of that range, it was well under. During the time the property was listed Rob was good at communicating with us and communicating with the renter. He kept my family updated at every step of the way. That was the only positive. I didn't feel like they were on our side as vendors during the offer process. I was told to accept the first offer and it was under expectations. There was no evidence that he or his office had attempted to get the price that we had made known to him. That was really disappointing. I'm still upset by it and it has angered me every time I think about it. At the end of the day, loyalty gets you nothing and I greatly wish I had used another company. Just another commission for them.

Rob was very professional and his knowledge of the area was great. Always kept us up to date with what was going on. Great service all round. This was a deceased property and Rob had been in contact with my father for several years prior to his death. Phone calls,, Christmas Cards. So I had no hesitations in having him sell this property.

From my first meeting with Rob I felt that he was able to attune to my concerns, doubts and expectations with genuine understanding. I was not confident regarding my expectant outcome and Rob did not push me through any part of the process. Instead I found him to be realistic and honest. I could use all the politically correct words available to myself - but most importantly it was Robs capacity to not make me feel inexperienced or less of a person in any way, throughout all of my contact with him and his agency Nicholas Scott. Rob stated that he would sell my property quickly and within my expectant price range and he did exactly that. I was not sure about not having an Auction, but in the end Robs screening and contact with expectant buyers actually sold my property for more than I might have gained via Auction.

Rob was excellent throughout the whole process when I was buying my first home. He was always available on the phone and helped me through the whole process to ensure that I was able to get the best deal for the property I wanted!!
