Before selling my house I organized to have appraisals done by several real estate agencies in the Mernda / Doreen area. I chose to list my house with Barry Plant, Doreen, for several reasons. First, I had bought and sold with Barry Plant in the past and felt confident about their experience and professionalism. When I met Rob I liked his positive and encouraging attitude and his professional manner. I was impressed by the way in which Rob put forward his marketing plan and the fact that he was able to demonstrate the statistical and empirical basis on which he estimated the value of my property and his estimation of the length of the sales campaign required to sell my property. During the campaign Rob and other agents from Barry Plant, Doreen, communicated with me to inform me of buyers' interest and to give me feedback about the property. The team was energetic, proactive and enthusiastic and this resulted in many inspections, not only on the days when the house was formally 'open for inspection'. In the end, Rob handled the negotiations of the sale in a professional manner and overall, I was very pleased when the house sold within the time range that Rob had predicted and for a price that was within the selling price range that was expected. Overall, Rob and the other agents at Barry Plant in Doreen did everything possible to make this potentially stressful experience as pleasant and easy as possible.
