When downsizing we purchased a unit advertised by Fletchers and subsequently asked them to sell the property which had been our home for many years. We have dealt with many agents during the years while we inspected possible purchases. We met Rob Fletcher during each of the " inspections" we attended at the property which we won at auction. We found him to be thoroughly professional while remaining very open, friendly and knowledgeable. The team he had supporting him were also efficient, helpful and allowed us to make the decision to buy without the pressure we have experienced dealing with some other agencies. When we subsequently sold our "old" home the same professional group swung into action to make the process as stress free as possible. Their advice proved to be accurate and the auction planning proceeded uneventfully to a successful conclusion. Rob was present with us while bidding progressed and his years of experience assisted us greatly making rapid decisions at that time.
Other agents who we asked to quote said that as Chairman of the company Rob would not involve himself in the sale yet he attended meetings with us and was present at the auction.
Rob worked with his son, Nick Fletcher. I dealt mostly with Nick so this review is based on more limited interactions than my review on Nick. I found Rob to be a professional, knowledgeable and courteous agent. Like his son, Rob is did not engage in high pressure sales tactics with us. I also found Rob easy to deal with and I am glad I chose him and Nick to sell our property.
Rob was present during the preliminary discussions about the sale. He suggested a reasonable reserve and put us onto a company that helped us clean up and prepare the house for sale. He stood with us during the auction and explained what was happening, who was bidding and what tactics they were using. He was respectful of our position and extremely courteous at all times.
From the initial contact With Fletcher's Real Estate I had a good feeling our family was in good hands. The manner in which Rob explained each step of taking our property to auction put every body at ease. There was certainly no over stating of the market. In the lead up to auction the property was presented in the best light to prospective buyers. It was obvious on auction day Rob and his team attracted a great mixture of bidders.The resulting sale exceeded our expectations. I am thoroughly recommending Rob to any prospective seller.
