I met Rob some 4 or 5 years ago by chance via a business meeting. We have stayed in touch ever since for one reason or another. Very active in the local community, Rob is one of those great people that you know will do exactly as he promises, he couldn't bear the thought of letting someone down. Long story short he worked tirelessly for me, he communicated well but most importantly he listened. I have no doubt he treated the perspective buyers with the same class and efficiency. He knew the market well and didn't sucker us into a signature with a price we wanted to hear, he just told us what the property was worth and near killed himself to exceed our expectations. Good guy, now a friend I'd be happy to share a meal with.

Robert Hall was our agent for the recent sale of a property. We have observed him at work over a few years when seeking to buy a property. This led to our selecting him for this sale process. He communicated well and listened carefully, asking relevant, constructive questions when required. He designed a clear strategy for the sale process, assisting us to make good decisions. He showed good judgement throughout the process. Robert negotiated a successful sale in response to an offer from one buyer in advance of the auction date. Robert negotiated a price that was higher than the very fair and reasonable minimum price that had been expected, which was, of course, a satisfactory outcome. The settlement period of some four months is not ideal, causing great inconvenience to both vendor and buyer, but has to be accepted as a compromise position. In summary, we are pleased to report that Robert lived up to our expectations. He was at all times calm and professional, approachable, cheerful, and accommodating. We would not hesitate to use his services again should they be required, or, to recommend him to friends or family. Additional comment: We had some interesting conversations with Robert about the importance of getting "open for inspection" indicator noticeboards / road signage appropriately positioned early on nearby roads and intersections. From our experience as house buyers, we know that a large proportion of people who come to inspect homes do so on an 'ad-hoc' basis whilst driving in the area, and are not always people who have studied the web page or newspapers and who have made a conscious decision to drive to a set address to view the property at a specific time. This is important. Additionally, there is a perception that road signage should NOT be put out early "because the local council does not approve". On the evidence in our area, a number of agents DO put their advertising boards and flags out early and it is an effective strategy.
