It was on the 14th of February I first came across Sahil Saran whom funny enough had come all the way from Point Cook to Clayton door knocking. At first I was reluctant to open the door to Sahil given it was a Saturday and having a sales person is the last thing I wanted. However couple of minutes into our conversation I began to ponder whether or not I should ask Sahil to leave because I was very impressed with the way he handled himself, as it must've been very anxious and a pressure situation, but Sahil constructed the conversation quite well Prior to this we had our house in the market for almost 6 months and went through a very bitter experience with the previous Real Estate agent. Given this was our first home we always had a special feeling to it and with the previous agent constantly nagging us about dropping the price to a realistic $400,000 or less we were almost at a point where we were going to agree to it and let our home go for a bargain because living in a single income had started to eat up our savings. Our past experience made us lose faith in Real Estate agents all together and that why I was even more reluctant talk to Sahil because I thought he was just another one of those ‘Real Estate Agents’. Having given Sahil of the figure which we wanted to achieve [$410K-$415] he didn’t for a moment get our hopes up (unlike most agents simply wanting the sale) by agreeing but very realistically said “Ash it’s not impossible to achieve if we work hard”. Anyways long story short he managed to find a buyer within 3 weeks for the price of $425K which is 10K more than what we wanted. Needless to say how happy and joyful we were. To LJ Hooker this might’ve been just another sale, but for us to see our home getting the value it deserves not only gives us great joy but also financially we are able to plan properly rather than merely settling for something that would’ve pegged us back and ultimately brought us hardship. The job that he does is challenging and difficult to say the least but he makes it look effortless. He works really hard on behalf of others to make all parties feel utterly comfortable at all stages. We will recommend him and endorse him as a very reliable realtor to work with.
