I am somewhat more than satisfied in the way Sam handled the sale of the property. Sam put a lot off effort in to sell the property and in convincing the purchaser not to pursue a discount for maintenance due as it is covered by the body corp. I would defiantly recommend Sam to anyone who may have a property to sell in the Spring Hill area.

Property investment is as good as the relationship with your agent

I consider all relationships to be partnerships, some are successful and some don't work out. My philosophy is that often people view the relationship with their estate agent too simplistically. A one time transaction with a defined start and finish. A few months of interaction with a single objective to move the property along and move the focus to the next one. Whilst this is 'about' how the sale or the purchase process goes, that single transaction should be only a snippet of a long term relationship or a long term investment in your partnership with the agent. Every next interaction with your preferred agent should be about building relationship milestones towards a long term future, getting to know each other's thought process, values and modus operandi. Over time mutual trust is achieved and cooperation is established at a level that roles of the vendor and the agent start to blend. Whilst each have their own and individual responsibilities, the objectives become common, and over time one and the same. My relationship with Sam Mayes and his team is only just over two years young. It started when I purchased my home in Spring Hill a bit more than two years ago (Sam being the marketing agent), the same home Sam and his team recently sold on my behalf. Two years ago I recognised in Sam the potential of becoming my trusted agent. Aside from Sam's market knowledge and property know-how, aside from his demonstrated talent in the business of property sales, aside from his youthful enthusiasm, and aside from his personable but polished approach in dealing with people, I recognised in Sam something that is conducive to a long term relationship, something that mutual trust and respect can be built around. After all, your preferred real estate agent is an extension of your inner circle made up of your doctor, tax agent, accountant, your financial adviser.
