Across Borders during COVID
A family member who worked for a major retailer here in Adelaide had a two bedroom unit in Thornside they'd had on the market a couple of times over the last couple of years, intending to buy a similar property to move to in Adelaide, where they had moved to be closer to family.
Each agent's marketing advice, market assessment, and valuation varied, with no positive offers forthcoming from either of the agencies during their agency.
Then one day, while our family member was serving a customer from Brisbane, they mentioned they had a property they wanted to sell there, but were frustrated by the lack of effective service from real estate agents they'd dealt with.
The customer suggested contacting Sam Neilson and passed on her telephone number.
The first conversation was apparently like a breath of fresh air; attentive, understanding, professional, enthusiastic, and passing on some really important market intelligence.
As our family member was particularly busy I was asked to communicate with Sam on their behalf, and asked for an opinion about her attitude. From get-go I was impressed and passed on my view that Sam, and her team, would probably be "the ones" to deliver a positive result.
My assessment turned out to be spot on!
All I can say is Sam's friendly, but businesslike and totally professional attitude, won the day. Her assessment and advice turned out to be absolutely correct and the first offers started to appear very soon after the marketing campaign commenced.
Suffice to say a sale was concluded very soon after and my family friend was then able to confidently bid for another very special and unique property in a beachside suburb which they now refer to as their "forever home of their dreams" ...
It transpired that all of this was time critical, as they would have missed out on the opportunity to purchase the new property if Sam's advice and market assessment had been mis-judged ...
Thank you Sam for everything!
