We had three agents come out and appraise our much-loved property. Sandy got the gig simply because she was the most well-prepared, professional and responsive of the three. After the original contact, there was a long time before we actually decided to sell. Throughout that period, Sandy continued to keep us informed of market conditions without ever hassling or hurrying us towards a decision. When it came time to sell, Sandy's advice on presentation and pricing of the property was spot on. Her experience and industry knowledge were greatly appreciated as she guided us through the sale process. This was most apparent when we had a building inspection conducted by a man who behaved very unprofessionally at our house. He was rude, arrogant and misinformed, and we were particularly impressed with Sandy's calm and professional handling of him. On top of all that, Sandy was always friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. We couldn't recommend her more highly.

We were quiet disappointed with Sandy's overall service. As the first-time buyer of an established home we expected a lot more flexibility & professionalism from Sandy (especially given the significance of the investment for us). Her communication style and overall behavior made us feel like we were just another bunch of people to deal with and it left us with a bad taste to be frank. I do not believe we were difficult clients at all, we simply expected a better attitude. It started with the lack of flexibility from Sandy when we first arranged an appointment to place an offer, Sandy never proposed to come to us to make it easy, unlike many other agents we dealt with and we felt from the first meeting that she did not really care as multiple buyers were involved for this property. Another issue was the constant questioning and criticism about our building inspector, Peter, a gentleman with 30+ years of experience that we selected for the job. Sandy kept on questioning his abilities & credentials with us. It was a good thing hat we got along with the owners of the property, and thankfully the moving went well. Another important point: during a discussion with Sandy when we talked about the final inspection, Sandy did not show much flexibility about the inspection timing. We had to re-arrange the time to better suit her schedule! Sandy told me that typically a final inspection goes "fast" and never beyond 45min.. I believe that when we buy a housewe are entitled to a proper final inspection and not rushed by a busy agent! It was stressful enough to buy such a property not to be pushed around for the final inspection. Finally, my pregnant partner Liz had to arrange to key collection on a hot Friday afternoon, an appointment was made with Sandy at someone's property (Sandy could not be bothered to come to us), sandy was late and simply gave the keys with a torn envelope (no joke) with a thank you card.. this is insulting and unprofessional.
