Given the known problems associated with a major renovation, we instead decided to buy something that had already been refurbished. Our dealings with Sarah on the purchase on the new property were more than enough to convince us to engage her for the sale of our old property as well. Sarah provided us with a realistic estimate of the property value (that eventually proved to be very close to the actual sale price),and kept us fully informed of what interest had been shown when our old home was on display. Needless to say, we would certainly have no qualms engaging Sarah again should we eventually decide to sell this property as well.
