From start to finish through thick and thin she managed to combine consummate professionalism and genuinely caring warmth in her dealings with us in the emotional sale of an unusual property in the Upper Mountains (i.e. we wished to sell two separate lots in one parcel: one being the house block, the other a landscaped native garden). Despite its decade-long creation as both a landscaped extension to our home and as a ‘wildlife corridor’ adjacent to surrounding bushland, there was nothing available in law to protect our labour of love from development by a future owner - except for that elusive buyer who might share our vision and take on the custodianship of a small parcel of land once part of a vast and beautiful Country. Agent Thompson found that buyer and we cannot thank her enough.

I am strongly resisting the urge to gush and use superlatives. I want to be quite clear as to why my husband and I thought Sarah was such a good real estate agent. Ours was not a completely normal sale. It was our first house that we were meant to renovate and move on from but through circumstances it became a home. It is a little unusual cottage. Also we were relocating overseas during covid. So the whole thing was never going to be easy. My husband felt that Sarah gave us a great deal of time and consideration. She was willing to spend the time with us and really listen, giving us an equal share of attention. She understood what was at stake, that it was a big part of our lives, a major transition and that it was not just a transaction. Most importantly, my husband felt that I was being supported whilst he was not here to do so. I definitely felt supported throughout the whole process. I believe the most important aspect of this was the communication. Sarah responded promptly, listened patiently when I prattled on, answered every question clearly (even when I repeated myself), explained, gave reasons and clarifications. She was serious and direct when things didn't go as expected but most of all it was her overall positive and proactive attitude that made the difference. Sarah had a clear plan and strategy and she invested the time and energy to make it work. Yet I believe that even more essential than that is her ability to make connections. Making connections with people and between people is what I think really makes the experience for both vendors and buyers so positive. It certainly was for us, we cant thank her enough.

I just by chance searched the domain website for blue mountain house for a holiday home, click the emails enquiry, Ms. Sarah Thompson replied emails straightway very quick and responded exactly what I asked. as I live in Sydney, only have time on Saturday and Sunday. Sarah always make her time available to suit my time. The first inspection of one property on Sat, not successful to reach the final sales. then we searched another property, Sarah organised a Sunday inspection time, we made an offer and some negotiations between the agents, vendor and us... the communications are so smooth, from the first time inspection, negotiations, offer accepted, signing contract and exchange the contract... Sarah has organised all these complicated works done in 3 days, especially it was just before Christmas Eve while the lawyers were nearly all planned for holiday break...Sarah has done the best interest of the vendor and also she has done the best interest of the buyer, her diligence and her professional ways of making the deal happened are impressive, well done Sarah!
