The most important part of the process was that I felt like I was talking to a bloke about a house, rather than a salesperson trying to sell me a house. Makes it more comfortable and more genuine, which is very important for a first home buyer when things are complicated and stressful enough. Also pointed out a flaw at our end, that could have left us open to issues with our contract and finance, which put me at ease that he was thinking of our best interests and not just the sellers. This is the third property we've ever bought and we wish we'd bought the other two from Scott.
