Professional agent with genuine interest
This review is not just about my agent, it’s also about what I felt. I think most people would appreciate that I share this because in the end, it was my agent that held my hand and my nerves. I can only think of a couple of things more nerve racking than selling your home, so having an agent that can soothe the way without making you feel completely out of control is fundamental.
Within a short time of meeting Sean and talking through the process, market expectations, different options and strategies for putting my place on the market, I was confident that he was the right agent for me. Sean spent many hours providing data, research & answering my questions without making me feel like any concern was trivial; even at nine o’clock at night (don’t do that btw) - he really wanted me to be at ease.
A 4-week campaign with daily updates, and a great looking marketing campaign, leading up to auction day. I was petrified. It is was nothing to do with Sean; he had been completely open with information, discussing all possible scenarios, even the worse-case ones. I was prepared, just scared.
Auction day comes. It was a horrible morning; grey, cold, wet. Early morning meeting; I could barely drink the coffee or appreciate the flowers I had been given – they were lovely. Everything was set, nothing to do but wait. A break in the weather and a re-assuring text from Sean. Countdown is on.
It’s weird watching people go through your house. The bell rings. You put music in your ears and play wordscape. And wait.
The property gets passed in. Strangely I’m calm at this point and I realise that it’s because I trust the process Sean had explained. Within 15 minutes a deal is done, and I’m thrilled with the result. I also felt genuine happiness for me from Sean.
Sean is a very personable and professional agent. He had genuine interest in my goals and was very thoughtful through the entire selling experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an agent.
