Charles Kimmorley was the selling agent and started out well with a polished script and was helpful in facilitating information and video viewings. The sale price was agreed and in place of some minor adjustments for B&P, we were given personal guarantees that the property would be left clean. This is where it went downhill. The property was not left clean and trying to resolve with Charles and Steve was a battle that only ended up partly resolved and us out of pocket to remove rubbish and do the ‘bond clean’ that was promised. Lesson learned to make these terms ‘contractual’ and not rely solely on the trust that was built.
A man of clearly considerable experience, Steve was polite, professional and knowledgeable. There were a couple of things we needed to work through during the experience but we got there in the end. I would be happy to utilise Steve Athanates as my agent if I ever elected to sell my property.
