I had rented my property for many years, so decided to go with the same agency even though I didn't know Steve Crawford. I lucked in as he exhibited all the traits I would have looked for in a real estate agent. From first meeting at a property inspection I felt both he and I were involved in aiming for a successful transaction. He explained the current market clearly and how this related to my sale. He then gave me a price range for the sale tat was acceptable to me and talked trough what I wanted to achieve - no false promises but a commitment to delivery on my expectations. This resulted in a well managed marketing package and a program for open homes that suited my tenants - a consideration for me. And then - sale on the first open home that met my expectations on price and also delivered a contract with no limiting conditions. Having contacts within the real estate industry - who I could have used for this sale - I am so pleased I stuck with Steve as this was a 'non-anxious' transaction handled with courtesy and a smile!

This was a difficult sell for both Steve and myself (owner) as the managing agents (not from Living Here) allowed the tenants to break the law on several occasions in regard to the end of their lease. Even the Tasmanian Magistrates Court failed to enforce the provisions of the Residential Tenancy Act when the tenants failed to vacate at the end of their lease. As a result, the sale was delayed from April to September but when the property was finally listed it was sold within ten days for a price I was satisfied with. Dealing with Steve was hassle free (as much as it could be considering the circumstances of this sale) and I would recommend giving Steve the opportunity to sell your property.

When my wife and I decided to buy a house, interstate, in Tasmania, we believed it could have it's pitfalls. Dealing thru Steve however made the process relatively smooth and speedy. I was so happy with Steve, after listing with another agent for over 3 months I was looking for a fresh approach.
