I invited a 'professional ' young agent with years of experience, to value my home. Armed with all the information he needed, he went and had meeting with his team and came up with a suggested market value and price. I could not afford to sell at his recommendation so started to make different plans. My wife mentioned she had been getting regular listings from Elders realestate for a long time, should we get a second opinion. Steve from Elders, turned up, on time, let me tell him about the property, then looked and made notes. We sat and listened to his strategy and why, then without any idea of our expectations of value or the other 'professional ' agents valuation, he came up with a figure over our expectations and surprisingly $100,000 more than the other agent !!!! Our thoughts, how can 2 agents in the same area be so far apart in a valuation !!!
