I usually write reviews for agents only when I’ve been a vendor, not a buyer, however given my experience with Steve McDade from McGrath Noosa I simply had to write this review. The market conditions in this area are currently entirely crazy. Very little supply and an overwhelming amount of demand. That makes it very difficult for buyers to secure a property. I reached out to Steve interested in one of his listings and, unlike many other agents I’d contacted, Steve got back to me almost immediately. This was despite a huge amount of interest in the property. Steve arranged an inspection for me in no time at all and it was during the inspection that not only was I impressed with the property, but with Steve’s knowledge of the property. Every question I had Steve had detailed answers for and really knew the property inside and out. Steve was also able to provide an amazing amount of detail about what was happening in the current market, what was driving it and how it was affecting prices in different market segments. A wealth of knowledge delivered in a genuine but friendly way, without any salesmanship or pressure. I could tell that Steve really enjoyed his work and was great dealing with people, be they vendors or purchasers. A real people person. He also provided advice that was invaluable given current market conditions. Despite working for the vendors I could tell that Steve was not just interested in sealing a deal, but that he wanted to bring everything together in a way that all parties would be happy and that both vendor and purchaser would feel great about the transaction and walk away smiling. And that’s exactly what happened. My love of the property, combined with Steve’s knowledge, professionalism and advice saw me purchase the property that very same day. After my dealings with Steve as a buyer I will absolutely be using Steve next time I’m the vendor.

Selling your house during a divorce is always going to be a difficult time. Steve made this process as easy as possible, and although I'm not sure we made it easy for him, his professional demeanour never faultered. He really does go above and beyond. Before one open-house on a 34 degree day he was cranking up the leaf blower to remove leaves from the driveway!! The marketing was done beautifully and I honestly beleive other agents would not have captured it with the same charm Steve did.

We were very happy with Steve and it was a very smooth process towards settling quickly a month after purchase. He was always on hand and ready to arrange access to the property prior to settlement. Our only disappointment was settlement being 1pm and we weren't able to access the keys until after 3pm. Great service. We would use him again.
