SOLD... in 7 days, at a premium valuation.
We have been in Bundarra for nearly 12 years, and about 3-4 years ago we met Susie. She introduced herself at the door, very friendly and interested in the development we had done at Bundarra. Just a courtesy visit to say that if we were ever ready to sell, Susie would help us prepare our house for market, connect us with all the trades and the top guru's for styling. She has kept in touch ever since.
Long story short, in February 2020, we took her up on her offer.
Result.. We sold in 7 days & at our $ expectation, ( all during the anxiety of COVID-19)
Our Plan.... from the start, we planned what needed to be re-freshed after 12 years of kids, dog & cats.... I naturally wanted everything to be in good working order, but was thinking of a lick of paint here & there. Susie was wonderful in explaining that if we wanted to sell and reach my target price, we needed the full works.
Stylists, full decoration, handy man, carpets, house clean and wash, gardening and lastly new (hired ) furniture through out. Susie knew them all really well. We build our 4 weeks diary and Susie pretty much went to town to introduce me to all these professionals. We did everything possible to prepare the house. All that was left was to film and photograph the house, and again Susie knew exactly who she wanted to use. The digital presence look fabulous and matched the glow of the physical presence.
Right from the first day we had a good flow of interest, but I would credit Susie for her enthusiasm and boundless energy to line up 10 back to back personalised viewing. From that momentum we had offers coming in within 2 hours. A week later it was sold. Susie was on the phone every time there was a flicker of news. We took it to our guide price and reached an exchange agreement before the end of the Friday. 4-5 buyers were active, but not all were ready with their own paperwork. Susie helped them all, and really it came down to the most agile buyer who could run at pace, won the house..
