You did not do the sale for the sake of it, but did it from your heart keeping in mind my needs. Truly a team with the seller in mind. We purchased a property in Walkley Heights through Tahir Farooq and Bjorn Kunzel for just over $1M and the process was a complete nightmare. Tahir was persistent on settling 'as soon as possible' so we had to push our bank and escalate for this to happen. On the day of settlement when my husband and I went to pick up the keys, Tahir requested that we come back the next day as the landlord still hadn't vacated (settlement occurred without the agent ensuring vacant possession). We met Tahir and picked up the keys the next day and we were shocked about the state of the property. There were rubbish everywhere, the taps were dismantled and removed, lots of keys and gate remotes were missing and the security system kept making loud noises. This was not the state of the property when we signed the contract. Tahir promised to help fix the issues but to this date, my husband has installed the tap himself , had to fix the damage the Vendor caused after plucking out the chandeliers and now the security system keeps making irregular noises. Tahir ought to have known that the Vendors were not able to vacate so quickly, but he had to regard for this wanted to settle 'as soon as possible'. Also, the property was technically 'sold' in early November and not in October as the listing notes. All this pushing and wanting to settle ASAP is just for the Agent to brag about their statistics on the internet while having no remorse for the buyers and their families. Before writing this review, my husband and I tried our best to resolve this but it seems like once settlement occurs and the vendor and agent get paid, no one cares what the conditions of the contract were. I would 100% recommend not buying through EXP Realty & Tahir Farooq.
