Todd’s competence was below expectations. He gave incorrect information about the duration of the tenancy. My final inspection was unable to go ahead because of miscommunication with the current tenant. Throughout the purchasing process, I was regularly misinformed about the status of the transaction, with Todd prematurely saying things were settled when they were not. Todd prepared the contract incorrectly, as identified by my conveyancer, and did not include the conditions we had agreed upon. When this was resolved, the contract was re-uploaded on DocuSign, rather than replaced. I’ve since been emailed an auto reminder every night to sign the incorrect contract (now ~50 reminders), and this hasn’t been fixed despite me getting in touch multiple times. I asked to be told when a sold sticker would go up on the property (a milestone for my first home purchase), and was told this was always done. Despite following up multiple times, I was not told, and the sign was taken down without the sold sticker experience. My first home purchase ultimately went through and I’m happy with the place, but I wish I’d had a less frustrating experience on the way through.
