As promised property got sold on time with a better than expected price despite many challenges along the way.

So, not really a fan of estate agents. They generally are a necessary nuisance in selling a property. Generally they over promise, under achieve then sting you for thousands to boot. Well, in this case, Tom did surpass my expectations. He was upfront with the pricing expectations and kept me up to date with all the news of what was happening and what the next steps were going to be. As soon as we had an interested party, Tom called and updated with where the potential buyer was at. Tom advised me where I could expect to be and took instructions easily. Within a weekend, both the buyer and I had agreed a price with a quick settlement. The next process was down to the conveyancers, but Tom still kept me in the loop and explained what to expect and when. All-in-all, Tom performed excellently and he made the whole process stress free. He was transparent and didn't try to over price my property and have it lingering for months. I got, what I feel, was the market price within about 3 weeks with a 30 day settlement, exactly what I was expecting and wanting (as it was an investment property without a tenant). I would highly recommend Tom.
