He proposed a clever strategy of bringing forward our auction to late afternoon on the Wednesday. Although there was a risk of lack of interest because of the unconventional auction time, we saw the benefit and agreed to go ahead. Daniel and Elliot put in a huge effort in the days leading up to the auction, including door knocking lots of people living in the street and in adjacent streets. It paid off because it resulted in about 60 people turning up. In the end after vigorous bidding the property sold for nearly $300,000 more than we anticipated.
