In November 2024, I sold my property through Ray White Craigieburn with agent Trish Orrico, and overall, it was a smooth process with a strong outcome. Selling from overseas added a layer of complexity, but I appreciated that everything could be managed remotely, and communication from the team was generally prompt and organised. The property itself was a straightforward, standard house, so I valued the decision to keep things simple without unnecessary styling or marketing costs. That said, there were moments when the process felt quite standardised, and would have appreciated a more individualised approach, acknowledging my background, connection and history with the property. Throughout, I remained actively involved—researching, asking questions, and advocating for my preferences—which helped ensure the decisions reflected my situation. I’d encourage other sellers to do the same: stay informed, trust your instincts, and don’t hesitate to ask for what you need. In the end, the sale result exceeded expectations, which I’m grateful for, and I thank Trish Orrico and the team for their role in making it all happen—particularly while I was living overseas.
