As first home buyers I believe the whole process was made a lot more stressful by Tristan's actions and we felt completely unimportant. I'm not sure if it was because of our age but the whole process was quite negative for us. The first contract we signed we wanted the $10000 paid at settlement which we were told was fine. Then the second contract they reverted back to us paying a $10000 deposit at unconditional without advising, our solicitors then had to sort it out when then causes issues with the bank which cancelled our settlement. Our first settlement was due for 2:30pm, we were told by tristan we had to pick up our house keys from his home, but not until after 4:30pm when it suited him. This is completely inappropriate, unprofessional and unacceptable. When we said we weren't going to do that he told my partner the keys are ready and to go get them from the office, when he got there he was told that no, in fact nothing was ready and the house wasn't settled due to the $10000 deposit screw up and he couldn't get the keys. We were so stressed we weren't even excited when we finally got the house! And what do we get as a thank you? A $40 movie voucher for 2 people who never go to the movies. I would not recommend amber werchon realty and we definitely will not be using when we sell this house.
