First rate service

We had a great experience working with Troy. From our initial meeting he was well prepared, knew the local market and what we needed to do to achieve a sale. He gave us details of recommended stylists who helped greatly. Through the campaign he was very diligent in providing feedback about opens and internet statistics about our advertising. He guided us through auction day and we were happy to exceed our reserve and sell on the day. Highly recommended and thoroughly professional James & Melanie

Troy & Helen made a great team when it came to selling our development site in the Balwyn High Zone. They were able to recommend a good marketing strategy and capture both the interest of local and Chinese buyers who come auction day competed to achieve a sale price that was over $400,000 above the reserve price. We are thoroughly over the moon with the result but at the same time it was a pleasure in working with a professional team in Helen & Troy at the Balwyn Hocking Stuart.

Persistence beats resistance

We entrusted the sale of our property to Troy Rendle because he'd hung in for years (in a laidback fashion) after we said we may downsize someday. He phoned to check in every now and again and sent local market sales updates twice a year. He's a local guy who lives and breathes this pocket of the eastern burbs real estate scene. Thanks to Troy's auctioneering skills, the support of the Hocking Stuart team and our lucky stars on the day, the result was well over reserve.

A great auctioneer

I Had attended a few auctions conducted by Troy before being successful at 49 Allison. His description of the property under the hammer and his way in engaging the crowd encourages bidders and instills buyer confidence. I have no doubt even on the sale of this particular property Troy was able to achieve the maximum result for his client, the Vendor. I will certainly use him in the future on properties I decide to sell at auction.

Troy is exceptional!

I feel extraordinarily fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Troy to sell our property. Troy is an exceptional real estate agent. I recommend Troy wholeheartedly to anyone who is selling a property in Troy's coverage area. It is difficult to find the words to express how highly I recommend Troy - but I will do my best! I met Troy at an open for inspection a few years ago. He maintained the relationship with me over a period of many years. In doing this, Troy was always friendly, engaging and courteous - never pushy, rude or annoying. When it came time to sell our property, we felt extremely comfortable with our decision to engage Troy. Troy always conveys a sense of calm confidence that is very reassuring during what can be a stressful time. Throughout our campaign, we felt supported and informed at all times. Troy provided us with detailed reports on our web-based marketing and on every open for inspection that we held throughout the campaign. We spoke multiple times a week and I always felt our campaign was important to Troy. Troy clearly understood the needs of our prospective buyers and, from my experience with Troy (prior to selling our property), I knew he would be giving them an outstanding level of service. Troy was our single point of contact throughout the entire process. He was at every open for inspection (and always at least 10 minutes early!) and conducted our auction. This was fantastic as he truly was an expert on our property, our campaign and our prospective buyers. Troy is a credit to Hocking Stuart and the real estate industry. Competent, professional and pleasant.

After interviewing four prospective real estate agents, I decided to go with Troy because of his professional manner and quiet competence. He had been in contact with me periodically for the last four years when I first began thinking about selling. No other agent had shown that level of tenacity. He was at all times a professional in his dealings and I trusted his judgement about the market. He sealed a very satisfactory sale for our home above the figure we had expected. He is a local who knows the streets and the people. I would recommend him to anyone considering selling in the Mont Albert North area.

Total Professional

Troy conducted himself with total professionalism throughout the whole sale process and it was a pleasure dealing with him. His communication and organisational skills are excellent and nothing was ever too much trouble. He listened to our needs and was able to deliver a top price for our property in just over 2 weeks. Troy Rendle completed the sale by auction of our property successfully. Throughout the pre-auction marketing campaign he was meticulous in his advice, information and regular contact. He has the rare quality of listening carefully to the client and translating the client's expectations into practical strategies. He emphasises that he is there using his experience to strive to achieve the client's wishes and that at all times the client is in control. He is clear in his explanation of the auction process, the possible scenarios and how they should be managed. The way he brought what turned out to be a rather challenging auction to a successful conclusion was commented on by quite a few seasoned auction goers.
