It's Christmas Eve. The roast beef is resting on the Aga, the chickens have been put to bed with their hot water bottle. It is England, it is winter, it is freezing! I am daughter and executor for my late father, known to all locally as Farmer John with the daunting challenge of selling his property from the other side of the world. Troy is our agent. He has successfully sold Dad's very old (& quite rundown) house. The process from beginning to end was managed beautifully. His knowledge, advice, kind guidance and gentle manner have all been exceptional. He guided me on a sensible price point, local market conditions, overcoming "presentation" challenges, financial factors currently influencing buyers...and he also helped arrange storage of (*and I think actually personally move*) some remaining furniture, all whilst I am overseas.
