We were really worried that our property wouldn't sell, or that we would have to take a hit on the price but we needn't have at all. Vicky came to our first meeting well informed, provided great research on recent sales in the area and had obviously taken the time to come up with a realistic and affordable campaign for us. She advised us to take up the furnishing option and I'm so glad we did. For a minimal outlay it made the property look a million bucks. Buying a new home was undeniably a stressful and nerve wracking experience. It's a huge investment and there was the constant fear of making a mistake in choosing where to live for our young family. Our first experience with Vicky was when viewing a house in Mount Helen. The property we looked through needed a little work (example:fencing and heating) we realised the configuration of the rooms didn't suit us And we conferred with Vicky about our preferred requirements. Vicky gave our needs some thoughtful consideration and directed us to a property on Chatham Avenue listed with Ballarat Propertly Group. Although this property was out of our price range, it suited our needs perfectly! Vicky was wonderfully patient with us and accommodating as we requested several viewings of the house to ensure that it suited our young family. Vicky's professionalism was outstanding! Her communication was excellent as she provided us with constant updates, and she was rarely unavailable. Vicky was a pleasure to work with throughout the duration of the transaction and was the consummate professional. She managed to bring a definite human touch to what can be a trying experience, and her love for real estate really showed. Although we were the buyers in this transaction and understandably, a real estate agents primary duty is to see to the sellers needs we never felt ommited from the process and were very happy with the way she looked after us. Vicky took the time to learn what we required in a property and because she knew our needs she was able to present us with exactly the type of house we required. We had been searching for quite a while and had become somewhat jaded by other real estate agents were not listening to our requirements. Notwithstanding the fact that I was then partly living abroad, this is the easiest property transaction that I have ever done. The reason for that is that Vicky ensured that this would be so. Quite simply, Vicky is the best real estate agent that I have ever dealt with. Her professionalism was evident from the very first viewing of the property (for which we arrived outside the stipulated time, but that presented no problem for Vicky). The house was appealing from the outset, and Vicky was able to answer all the questions that we had, and to provide information about the background of the house, such as when it had been built, by whom, etc. A second viewing followed the owner's reduction of the purchase price (which Vicky informed me about immediately). On the second viewing, Vicky was able to answer all the additional questions that I then had, and, by the time the viewing was over, I was convinced that this was the right house. My work second schedule meant that the viewing before settlement had to be organized on a Sunday - again, this was no problem for Vicky. The negotiation process was very smooth. Vicky was aware that I was really keen on the house, and when my initial offer was rejected she negotiated with the seller to determine the bottom line, which I was able to accept immediately. So the negotiation process was over with in a day or so! Vicky's help went well beyond the call of duty. She met me at the station to drive me to the property when I came for viewings; she organized negotiations with the vendors for the purchase of some items of property that they wished to sell; and, even after the purchase of the property, she and her office assisted us in dealing with securing services to the property. She has provided us generally with a wealth of information relating to living in Ballarat. Vicky's professionalism is matched by her outgoing personality and her great sense of humour. It has been a real privilege to deal with her.
