We have been searching for a beachfront property for a long time. It was so hard finding something overlooking the beach in our price range. Google pointed us to Vikki Plehan’s Harcourts ad - the detailed descriptions and photos got our attention. She kindly showed us through the unit after hours. We wanted it. Vikki patiently led as though all the paperwork and we signed a contract the next day. Burleigh Heads ticks all the boxes: top growth rates, good returns, great village atmosphere - cafes everywhere, we walk out the front gate to swim at a flagged beach. What is not to like? Vikki also put us in touch with an excellent property manager who lets out the unit when we are not using it. So Happy.

Vikki is very personable and engaging such that you feel in the company of a good friend. She knows what to say for any situation and always displays tact and empathy in dealing with people. She quickly assesses what needs to be done and gets straight to work. This is what impressed me the most – when preparing the unit for holiday rental Vikki came to do an appraisal but on seeing that there was still a lot of work to be done quickly decided to help. Nearly an hour later she had worked her magic and the presentation of the unit was stunning. She also applied her creative talents to colour coordinating the furnishings to their best advantage. Needless to say we were won over decided then and there that if the property was sold Vikki would be the first one to call. Vikki’s professionalism and determination to achieve a sale at the best possible price was outstanding. Because the property was solidly holiday rented throughout the winter months the opportunity to have open days was very limited. This challenge did not deter Vikki – she worked long hours showing the property to potential buyers during the limited periods available. It was not all plain sailing with an early contract falling over due to the buyers being unable to sell their unit. Another contract required many special conditions which the buyer had relayed through his solicitor. Throughout all this Vikki was steadfast and undaunted. She kept working the sale and finally on the last day before a new holiday tenant was due she agreed to show a couple the property, even though it was a Sunday. As you may have guessed this buyer wanted to buy and within two days Vikki had negotiated a great price and a cash contract was signed. I have gone into detail here to show the lengths that Vikki goes to for her client. I have no hesitation in providing Vikki the highest recommendation and would strongly suggest you contact her if you are considering selling or buying real estate.
