We first met Vivek at an open home for a property we were considering buying. At the time, we were beginning the process of selling our own home and had shortlisted 2 agents. A day or 2 after the open, we received a follow up call from Vivek. At this point we had received about a dozen of these calls from various agents who opened their call in roughly the same manner, “are you interested in this property/will you be making an offer?”. Vivek’s approach was quite different. He asked a number of questions that were not at all associated with the property. He focused on our situation, our interests, and what we were looking for in a potential home. When it became clear that the property we had viewed had unfortunately not met all of our deal breaker qualifications, Vivek was respectful and did not push the matter. He then asked about the property that we were selling and if we had decided on an agent. We told him we had not and he politely requested the opportunity to come present to us, even offering to be available after hours after we explained to him how time poor we were. We very quickly decided that this was the person we wanted representing our property. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made.
