We arrived in Kilmore from interstate in late 2011, looking to line up a rental for 2012. From the outset Wendy & staff (at First National at that time) were knowledgeable & helpful, securing us a rental in a set of units on George St. Here our tenure went smoothly. In 2014 we progressed to a Unit purchase, again working with Wayne & Wendy to purchase a new-build unit in Sutherland St. We negotiated to what we considered a fair price, and all dealings were worked through efficiently, with clear lines of communication. Somewhat unexpectedly within 6 months of purchasing the Unit we headed off to work roles overseas and had no hesitancy in assigning Wayne Smith the role as tenancy managers. When the time came to sell earlier this year we again worked with Wayne Smith, who offered knowledgeable advice regarding preparing the Unit for sale and the likely ‘price-window’ in the prevailing Kilmore Market. The unit was advertised effectively on-line & multiple prospective buyers came through at its first open inspection. Negotiations were complete with a week, with the purchase price coming in at $10,000 above the indicative price – a reasonable outcome for both parties.
