Yan Lins English and communication is terrible. From the start she suggested an auction which I informed them I didn't think it would work on this property, they assured me that it would. result, no one showed up for the auction, not sold. The only contact I had with Yan was when she wanted to drop the price of the property. The updated hit on internet report that was sent every month, I received 2 months of someone else's property report, not mine. They organized with the tenant to do open houses and didn't inform me of the open houses, just went ahead with them, 11 in total and last one was a Neighbour who eventually purchased, only because I lowered the price to get rid of it, was sick of dealing with it all. 12 months earlier i had it on the market with a different agent and Hayes winkle approached me and told me that they would sell the house, they had buyers waiting, trying to poach it from the other agent. when the house didn't sell with that agent, I re-rented it and then 8months later decided to go to Hayes winkle because they had convinced me to sell as they had buyers, it was all lies.. deceit and greed. All they were concerned about was the sale and didn't care how they got it, they even gave me a document to say that they would not poach sellers, as they tried to do to me when it was with another agent. I was committed with Hayeswinkle so I had to go ahead with it, I was not happy with the result at all and If i had the time again I would have sold it myself, saved 12k, and had a better experience. Yan sends mixed messages, does not understand other people, she just doesnt have the personnal touch that is needed with real estate. She really needs to work on her people skills, spelling and grammer and communication skills. I dont think her knowledge of the area was very informative and clearly was not in touch with real estate trends,
