I have leased out a property with Peter Blackshaw and have found them to be excellent. They took the extra steps to make sure we got the maximum rental amount that was achievable, worked tirelessly around the clock to find the right tenant, and have always reached out with a personal email or call whenever things like property maintenance is required (unlike some bigger companies which just run these things via links to clunky apps these days). Their rates/fees were also very competitive and actually lower than some of the other larger real estate chains, while still offering much better and a more personalised level of customer service. I would highly recommend them to others.

Kristy did an excellent (and very efficient) job of leasing my apartment in Belconnen. She was available, at all hours, to answer my questions and provide me with information about the services offered by Peter Blackshaw Gungahlin. She was also extremely quick in getting the apartment on the market and tenanted at an excellent rental price. Kristy was recommended to me by two seperate friends who had rented from her. I unreservedly extend my recommendation for her property management services also.

I first dealt with Peter Blackshaw Real Estate Gungahlin (PBG) when we purchased our first property in Amaroo in 2006. We sold that property in 2015 again using PBG as the managing agent. The selling experience was fantastic, Michael and the team were simply brilliant. A professional auction campaign with the property sold under the hammer above expectations. I cannot rate their sales division high enough. Given great past service, in 2018 I tapped into their property management division to look after our investment unit in Harrison. The team again was brilliant. First open house we had tremendous interest and I received solid advice from Craig on the right tenants to pick from. As I don't live in Canberra, I rely on PBG (especially Craig) to look after the place and he and the team have not let me down. From inspections, to rent management processes to just asking them for random maintenance assistance PBG have always acted professionally on my behalf. The tenants to must be happy as they have requested a 2 year extension on the original 1 year lease, always good news for an investor! I don't normally do business reviews but when you get good service then that business needs to be recognised for that.

Before I rented out my property, for the first time with Hive, I needed a long list of maintenance jobs completed as I lived interstate. Hive was able to have it all sorted and completed, as well as find tenants in a matter of a weeks. All the while checking in with me regularly. Their teamwork and communication was excellent across every aspect of this early presentation and management stage of the property.

My experience with HIVE Property was the best. They were swift in responding to issues with the rental accomodation and usually reply within a day. Georgia Haimes was particularly easy to work with. She was very professional and promptly address any queries or problems. I highly recommend this business.

We recently signed up with Hive Property Canberra for a rental property. The two property managers who we have dealt with have been attentive, professional and responsive to our questions and needs regarding the property. With some agencies, tenants are often left feeling like they don’t matter, and all focus is directed at the property owner. I can say that this has not been the case with us and Hive Property, as the property managers have been very caring and attentive. We are new to using Hive Property, but our experience has only been positive so far.
