I've unfortunately leased a few homes in my time. I think at this stage i have experienced most real estates in the shire with varying levels of support. Shire Agents is completely different. Shire Agents actually care. I have recently (not my current lease) been through arguably one of the worst situations you can experience in a rental (through no fault of the real estate or myself). Not only were they compassionate throughout, they advocated for me even when they were confronted with resistance. They were able to maintain a positive relationship with myself as the tenant and the owner who was placed in a difficult position as well. Their communication was clear and non-confrontational, their negotiation skill were top notch and their professionalism ensured that the owner & tenant were supported whilst they fought for both our rights against a strata. I have now leased 3 properties through them over the last 10 years & will continue to do so, as they treat you like a human rather than income for someone else mortgage like other real estates tend to do. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shire Agents to anyone in the shire who wants to be treated like a human whilst renting.

Having owned and rented, we’ve seen both sides of the coin and it is far more common to be treated less than, being a renter - not for one second have we been made to feel that way with Kimberley.
