We met Matt about 7 years ago when he appraised our house, and we were immediately struck by his warmth, energy and enthusiasm. We decided not to sell at that time though. Over the years, we have spoken about various real estate possibilities and he was always eager to help. I was amazed by how was could recall every detail about our house and his enthusiasm was still just as strong. When we finally decided to sell our house, Matt was the obvious choice to sell with. Matt is engaging, energetic, yet highly approachable and down to earth. He has a rare knack of not just selling a house, but selling a ‘dream’, by highlighting all the best aspects of a house to potential buyers with his unrelenting positivity and warmth. His assistant Angela is the ideal complement to Matt, as she is unassuming, diligent, and has great attention to detail. The auction campaign was brisk and efficient, and within 4 weeks of us deciding to sell, our home was sold at Auction, above our expectations and reserve. This was just as the market had turned, and I know that we managed to get one of the last 2022 boom-time prices in Newcastle, thanks to Matt and the team’s ability to hold a short, sharp campaign and keep potential buyers emotionally engaged throughout. If you’re going to sell your home anywhere in the Greater Newcastle area, I wouldn’t recommend selling with anyone other than Mathew Iuliano. :)
