I first met Blake EDGELL of LJ Hooker, Lithgow as a customer who walked in cold off the street. It was at this initial interaction that I knew I had found a professional individual who knows the industry as he spoke with a measured confidence that put me immediately at ease as I navigated this foreign territory. Marketing strategies were firm but fair and, in my opinion, did not overly favour the seller or the buyer and put every stakeholder (buyer/seller/agent) on a level playing field at every point during the process either before, during or after negotiations. Throughout the sales process Blake held firm on the position that we had agreed upon and put confidence behind the strategies that he had come up with maintaining that they were appropriate for the nature and type of properties being sold taking into account the current market, his initial appraisal of the properties and their different target markets. Throughout the sale process Blake kept in touch with me providing updates, advice and guidance after each open house and/or sales enquiry. At all times I felt informed and appraised of exactly where things were at. Blake is a polite, respectful, confident and easy-going salesperson who offers solid advice that is based upon a stable platform of education, work experience and training. He is neither arrogant or dismissive in his approach and is very likeable, relatable and offers a country charm that draws you immediately to him. At all times I felt like he had my best interest at heart. He did not waiver in his market appraisal position for the sake of a quick sale and held true to his word. Blake did absolutely everything he said he would do and things turned out just as he said they would. If you are buying or selling real estate this is the man, you need in your corner.
