Selling my home for the first time felt rushed, and several requests I made regarding the property description were overlooked. While attendance at open inspections continued to increase, the market itself was clearly readjusting. Within just 14 days, there were 21 inspection attendees and two serious buyers, demonstrating strong interest in the property. Despite this, I ultimately felt pressured into negotiating with a buyer who remained firm on their position. Throughout the process, it appeared the agent was primarily focused on securing one particular buyer, repeatedly emphasising the importance of not losing them and referring to missed opportunities with previous buyers. This left me feeling that other potential opportunities may not have been fully explored. In addition, Tanja frequently referenced examples of other vendors who had struggled to sell their properties, which I felt added unnecessary pressure during the decision-making process. As a result, I did not feel fully supported in making a considered and informed decision that aligned with my own objectives as the seller. Ultimately, the property sold for what I believe was a fair price. However, my concerns relate not to the outcome, but to the process. With better communication, greater consideration of my preferences, and less pressure throughout negotiations, I believe the overall experience could have been handled more effectively.

Noel is the ultimate professional. We met him at 2 open homes and while they didn’t suit us he did listen carefully to what we wanted. He didn’t waste our time by sending us unsuitable properties and he clearly has a broad range of connections with past customers and builders which certainly helped us get a property that really suited us. It was never a problem to show us the property on a number of occasions often the same or next day. He knew the property intimately so he obviously does his homework by and was able to get specifics from the vendor that we wanted to know. He called us within 20 minutes of settlement to congratulate us and let know that settlement had occurred. I cannot recommend Noel highly enough for both buying and selling and thank him for the great result he got for us
