Seller of 1001 Grandview Rd, Upper Brookfield

The agent you have always dreamed of, but never believed existed!

After many years of lost causes and frustration with our property sale, with multiple agencies, we had given up on all agents completely. Our land was then setup and actively for sale privately, without an agent. Things were plodding along with interest, but nothing to the point of "sealing the deal". Out of the blue we get a call from this guy called Jackie. With his mesmerizing Irish accent he tells us that he has someone on his books who is after just this sort of thing. It was a little late as that family were in the process of buying in another area. Jackie came over to meet us, and we were instantly fond of him! He came across from the start as a man of his word - with a singing voice of an angel (perhaps you may be blessed by it too). It was a great surprise to us that an agent could actually be a decent human - so we signed him up, just as a 'plan b' alongside our private sale. We liked Jackie, but still underrated the job an agent is capable of, so we weren't quick to sign him on, and we certainly didn't hold much hope in his chances. After a couple of months of working with Jackie, we became friends as he made us feel like we had a genuine partner in our land sale, as well as a new member in our family. He's the kind of agent that you don't meet often - he's genuine and poetic, gentle and kind, honest and trustworthy - and hard-working! He actually came up to meet us, brought each person up and around for a tour on the land. Nothing was too much. Our private ad was ticking away with semi-interest, while the same time Jackie's marketing (nothing flash - no bells or whistles!) was drawing in the interest almost magnetically. It was a bit of a race - private sale vs Jackie. In the end Jackie won, by a mile. He deserved it for his hours and heart he put into the job. The outcome was just as we had prayed for. We believe that he was a little God-send. Thank you Jackie! Please come back for dinner and an evening of singing soon :) ABCDE
