I initially went with Mark because of the 3 or 4 agents that I asked for a valuation, Mark gave me the most confidence in his understanding of the market. He was upfront about where the market was, what he hoped we could achieve, but realistic about potential challenges. This gave me a lot of confidence, as it wasn't just the usual estate agent hype. During the process Mark was in touch with me all the way - we had a call at the end of each open house, all offers communicated but also where he thought they might be willing to go to. In the end we had a price above what we'd hoped / expected, which looked like it might be a problem when the mortgage lender's valuation was way below the market value and Mark was able to connect the buyer to a mortgage broker who quickly secured the mortgage. If anyone is considering an agent for the Queanbeyan / Canberra region, I highly recommend Mark - you won't be disappointed!

As first-home buyers, we were excited about the process, but a few things didn’t go as expected. We didn’t receive the main door key at handover, despite multiple follow-ups, and had to use the sliding door to enter and exit the house for a couple of months before finally replacing the lock ourselves. We also hoped for a more special moment with the traditional “SOLD” sticker, but received a “YEWW” one instead, which felt a bit out of place for such a milestone. We appreciate the overall effort but feel these small details could have been handled better to make the experience more memorable.

I enjoyed working with him throughout the journey of selling. Always provided feedback and always had a calm and friendly demeanor. He reassessed strategies and could very confidently navigate any conversation with potential buyers. Rick is a good communicator and has a friendly manner. Rick has a lot of experience in the Canberra real estate market and is able to provide very useful advice.
