David and his team, through their energy and enthusiasm, gave us the confidence that we were in safe hands and the outcome would be good. On the day before the auction we attended a pre-auction briefing with David and the team at Kelly's agency. We both felt that this meeting gave us a good understanding of how events would unfold and how the auction would be conducted. The fact that David not only ran the campaign, but was the auctioneer was a big advantage. It meant that David had an intimate knowledge of the property which he was in a position to convey during the auction. Compare that to a contract auctioneer with a short briefing prior to auction. We didn't attend the auction (too stressful) but it was a great result. I noticed that when my wife was shaking David's hand she was holding back tears, says it all really.
