Professional and Patient

Penny is a very professional salesperson, very patient in communication, and understands my needs very well. She helped me find a suitable buyer in a short period of time, and assisted in communication between me and the buyer, and solved all the problems smoothly.

Solid performance by decent people

Rahi and her partner Nader are delightful people, very well presented. They provided useful tips on the sale of our mother's house, well kept but original 1980s styling. We all expected a higher sale price due to the large block (1015sqm), two street frontages, zoned for building. The pair tried hard with potential developers but it seems the dealbreaker for them was the half dozen established trees: a note for others in similar situations. However, it was good to have access to their special list and to have tested that market. The pair tended to arrive just in the nick of time before inspections, perhaps because they knew we would have the house ready to present each time. It was certainly good to have them both attending, as one stayed at the entrance to greet viewers and one would float. Just not many viewers, although it was our choice not to list on All Homes (far too expensive) - but everywhere else. There were only two registered bidders on Auction Day, one arriving out of the blue, and they bought it. We realise we waited too long to sell the house, the week after the last federal election. Rahi and Nader understood that we had to wait for the right time to work in well with Mum's comfort zones and they expedited the electrical work and carpet cleaning that needed to be done through their contacts. This was a godsend! However, they didn't provide our conveyancing lawyer with notice of the upcoming sale, causing him some problems. We also would have appreciated a bit more knowledge of steps to take after the sale regarding Centrelink customers selling their house. Perhaps this is expecting too much. In the end we sold the house on Auction Day for a little under the original quoted range. We were happy to sell this house in this way because it meant much less work for us in finalising the house than by private treaty. Early on Rahi and Nader said a young Indian family would buy the house, and they were spot on with this prediction.
