Alan showed his true commitment to this assignment. He promised regular communication and showed a strong desire to chase up as many prospects as he could find. Both he and Russel, the auctioneer, worked hard on auction day but even with 36 people we had no bids. Then that was where Alan really kicked. He followed up with other prospects who were not there on the day working with one Saturday night then finally made the sale on Sunday morning, the next day, with a price better than we thought we would get.
