David had managed our investment property in Midland for many years. It had been looked after well which was very important to us as we live in NSW and so we needed someone whom we could trust to keep the property in a good state and always with a tenant. When we decided to sell, David was able to handle this for us in a way that was very quiet and discreet. Importantly, this was done in a way that was of minimal inconvenience to the tenant. He was also able to get us a very good price for the property with which we were very happy.
2/39 Ferguson St Midvale
David Miller and the team at Raine and Horne in Midland had managed our rental property at 2/39 Ferguson St for a number of years. In September 2024, two years after we had retired to Ireland we made the decision to sell the property and asked David to manage the process. David found an alternative rental for our tenant of the time and then readied the property for a vacant sale. This involved bringing the property back to a near new state including gardening, cleaning, and some repairs and repainting. In terms of a sales strategy David decided we should try and capitalise on the interest at the time in WA property by Eastern states investors. The property was listed around the 15th August 2024 and a sale was agreed a month later at an amount 19 percent higher than the listing price. Settlement was the 8th October 2024.

Terry's management of our sale, from start to finish, was a pleasant experience. Contrary to our expectations of a long and painful sales period, it was actually a short and not unpleasant one. We were regularly briefed on the state of his negotiations with potential buyers and he clearly explained our obligations and the documentation we needed to facilitate a smooth transition, if a successful outcome was achieved. We were prompted to complete any documentation required, in good time. Most of all, we were thrilled with the sale price, which was very different from what we thought likely, when we engaged Terry to sell our property for us.
