I have worked in the Residential Real Estate Industry in the past and had experienced the very best of practices and also witnessed some shockers, so I had been watching the market in my area very closely and talking with other people who had sold their properties about their experiences for a couple of years prior to listing my home for sale. After a short period testing the market in a low-profile way without much response, we threw it open to full on marketing and open homes, resulting in three well negotiated offers, with the most attractive resulting in the successful sale of my home.
