Matt and his team at Richard Matthews Real Estate were second to none in the way that they managed the marketing campaign and auction of our late parents’ home. From the very start of the process, they were open and honest in setting realistic expectations, strategy and communications, whilst being empathetic in the fact that we were selling a property that had been in the family for over 70 years. Throughout the marketing campaign Matt and Vernon were in constant communication with updates on the open houses and how the mood was and interest from prospective buyers. On the day of the auction, they really shone, a super professional team worked the floor with Matt at the helm bring out the competition from the crowd. The auction was tough and got off to a slow start, however Matt leveraged on his excellent communication skills and wealth of experience to steer the price to where we were happy to sell and let the hammer drop. My family and I can’t recommend Matt and his team highly enough and want to thank them very much all the way through the journey of the sale. Excellent job, well done!!

Matthew helped us sell our father's property which has been in the family since 1942 and my home since 1965. As emotional as the whole process has been, Matthew and his colleague Vernon, were wonderful to work with and learn from. Their knowledge of the area and the guidance they gave us through the process of the campaign, open houses, regular check ins to discuss interest in the property and the work they did behind the scenes were invaluable. The day of the auction was something new for our family, but watching Matthew and the rest of the team work so hard to get us the best result possible, proved putting our trust in Matthew was the right decision. Chris had excellent market knowledge and a fantastic work ethic. He was in constant contact with updates and potential offers and at no time was he uncontactable. We received a great price for our mum and dad's family home, and his advice was always on the mark. Cannot recommend Chris enough. We sold our family home within three weeks, something I have never experienced. Our previous experiences with agents have to be fair been average at best, but Chris was everything one needs in a real estate agent. Wish my wife and I had him selling our home in the mountains.
