These days, everyone in your circle seems to say, "Hey, if you need a broker, I know a guy" Over the past 15 years, I’ve purchased 5 or 6 properties, and one thing I’ve learned is that not all mortgage brokers deliver the same outcome. I’ve also worked with a few brokers who came recommended and were (usually because they were a friend of a friend), but they gave poor advice, wrong timelines, and even made critical application errors. His experience of 20 years and relationships at every bank make this evident. I will never risk gambling on another broker again, and neither should you.
