My husband and I first started looking to purchase our first home back in 2019, I found out about Gail Roots and her team at First Choice Home Loans via word of mouth, we were given Gails contact information and this was how we started our journey. At our initial consultation I was blown away with Gails finance knowledge. Her knowledge of the local estate market was profound, Gail explained the whole process step by step, in a way that was easy to understand. After our initial pre-approval, We were going to open homes and started making offers on properties, but then Covid-19 swept across the globe and we paused our search. In late 2021; My husband and I were ready to start searching again. It wasn't long before we found a place that we fell in love with immediately, so I contacted Gail and to my surprise she remembered me and kept my file. The transition was effortless and stress free; it felt like yesterday we last spoke. I appreciated how Gail listened to our specific circumstances. We were provided with multiple choices and they were all thoroughly explained in a way that was easy to understand, we never felt rushed or pushed into going with any provider. Our first application was submitted and we were heading towards going unconditional, but unfortunately the bank we chose was not meeting key deadlines and timeframes were excessive. After consultation with Gail, we chose to submit a second application with another mortgage provider, by this time the application was time sensitive and the margin of error was minimal. But Gail was able to get us approved within a few days with the second provider and they were ready to settle 3 days prior to settlement. I appreciate how Gail was always contactable regardless if it was after hours or on weekends, she went above and beyond to work around my work schedule, Gail works with integrity, honesty and respect. Gail gets results for her clients. I would not hesitate referring to family and friends in the future
