In June of this year, myself and my partner were told by a broker from another company that we weren’t going to be eligible for the first home guarantee scheme as together we earnt $2k more than the max earning capacity to be eligible. This was a MASSIVE set back for us and a very stressful time. We were told that there we weren’t going to be able to buy a house unless we had a guarantor or increased our deposit by around 15%. I callee Paul, he reassured us and explained that if our combined tax return was $2k or higher our joint earning capacity would then be reduced which would then make us eligible for the scheme. Together we managed to reduce our joint earning capacity by claiming our tax return. From being told there was no way we would be eligible and loosing hope of ever being able to buy a house, Paul came in and showed us that we could do it. We are now coming up to our 3rd week of being in our own home at 20 years old. It honestly just feels surreal to be here but we wouldn’t be here with the help and support from Paul and Fiona Paul is an expert in the field. He takes the time to work with you and give you the best advice personalised to your circumstances. I couldn’t recommend Paul any higher even if I tried.
